We'd like to take a moment to better acquaint you with our practice and invite you to contact us if there is anything additional our Center can do for you.
Westside Sleep Center, located in Tigard, was founded in June 2007, and provides complete care for the treatment of all sleep disorders, through patient-centered consultation and thorough follow-up, comprehensive sleep study services, and medical equipment supply and management.
Westside Sleep Center is owned by Scott D. Fromherz MD, who serves as the Medical Director and sole medical services provider. Dr. Fromherz received his medical degree at Georgetown University Medical Center and completed a Neurology residency at Stanford Hospital, followed by a 2-year research and clinical Sleep Medicine fellowship at the Stanford Sleep Disorders Center. A native of Oregon, Dr. Fromherz relocated to Portland following his fellowship, where he has been practicing Sleep Medicine independently and exclusively since July 2005.
Dr. Fromherz is well-known as a caring and compassionate physician, who takes the time to carefully listen to his patients’ problems and develop an effective plan to manage their sleep medicine needs. This approach extends to his team of highly-trained sleep technologists, respiratory therapist, and office staff, who are firmly committed to carrying out his vision of unparalleled care and service. And finally, it extends to our facility, which was designed from the perspective that patient comfort is key to a successful study. As our "Take A Tour" photos illustrate, our center and sleep study suites are more befitting a fine hotel than a hospital environment. But despite our comfortable setting, our diagnostic technology is among the most advanced equipment available today.
Below, you will find a downloadable referral form, as well as a list of insurances with whom we are contracted. Our order form is designed to make the referral process as simple and streamlined as possible. To refer a patient, simply fax us a completed order form and pertinent medical history to (503) 639-7006 and we will take care of the rest: we will call your patient to schedule, prior-authorize insurance, verify eligibility and benefits (at patient request), and perform any and all necessary services without any additional paperwork or orders needed from you.
